As a company, we traditionally support a number of worthwhile philanthropic causes over the course of a given year.  Work Options for Women (WOW) is one of the organizations we actively contribute to and are engaged with. In fact, our very own Katherine Phillips sits as the Board Chair for WOW.

Work Options for Women (WOW) was founded in 1996 with a mission to combat homelessness and poverty by providing unemployed women with the confidence and skills they need to become gainfully and permanently employed in the food service industry. WOW has trained and placed more than 300 women in cooking and food service positions since its inception.

WOW’s annual fundraiser WomenCook! Dining for a Difference is coming up on May 2 and SLI has the privilege to be one of the Sous Chef sponsors.  Save the date for the 7th annual WomenCook! event benefiting Work Options for Women. Join us for a walk-around dinner featuring Denver's most well-respected and creative women chefs. We hope to see you there!
