The Alabama Medicaid Agency (AMA), an agency of the State of Alabama, has selected SLI Global Solutions, Inc. (SLI) to deliver Independent Verification and Validation/Quality Assurance services for the Recipient Subsystem Modernization Project.  AMA was notified on January 21, 2011 of federal approval from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) of Alabama’s selection of SLI.

This 24-month, $2.2 million contract provides Alabama with system development and implementation oversight services beginning in March 2011 and extending through February 2013.  SLI’s initial contribution is to review the Agency’s Recipient Subsystem Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) RFP and Proposal Evaluation Plan before they are sent to CMS for approval.  Once the DDI vendor is selected, SLI will provide ongoing project management, functional and technical subject matter expertise, and system testing services.
