SysTest Labs Hires Marc Watkins as Lead Tester for Interactive Entertainment

DENVER (Feb. 13, 2008) – Marc Watkins joins SysTest Labs Incorporated as the lead gaming tester for the recently established interactive entertainment division. SysTest Labs is a Denver-based company and a national leader in quality assurance (QA) and independent verification and validation (IV&V) solutions.

Prior to joining SysTest Labs Watkins was the senior software test engineer for Flying Lab Software, where he tested all aspects for Pirate of the Burning Sea, a massive multiplayer online game (MMO).  At SysTest Labs Watkins will be responsible for leading interactive entertainment testing teams as well as the testing process on projects.

Watkins background also includes work with Microsoft Titles as part of the Microsoft Games Studios where he worked on and tested the XBOX 360 console and Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee. Other work included testing Donkey Kong 64 and Pokemon: Red/Blue for Nintendo Titles, testing for the PLAYSTATION platform, PC Games and MMOs.

Watkins is A+ Certified Hardware & OS and has a Network+ Certification from CompTIA.  He holds a bachelors degree from Elmira College in New York and a masters degree from Texas A&M University.
