SysTest Labs’ Ron Wood Receives CISSP Certification
DENVER (Oct. 10, 2007) – Ron Wood, security practice director at SysTest Labs in Denver, has earned Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. The CISSP is an advanced-level certification for IT security professionals with a minimum of four years' industry experience and an understanding of the 10 CISSP information systems security test domains. "Security should be a primary consideration of programmers everywhere as their application is developed,” said Wood. “SysTest Labs offers a combination of security expertise and quality assessment skills that help developers recognize and build better code." Wood brings more than 10 years' experience administrating security polices and controls in IBM MVS and VM, Novell, Unix and Windows environments to SysTest Labs. He designed the Statewide Judicial Network for the State of Colorado and the District-Wide Network interconnecting all schools to the Internet for Denver Public Schools.
