DENVER (Feb. 12, 2008) –SysTest Labs, a Denver-based company and a national leader in quality assurance (QA) and independent verification and validation (IV&V) solutions, added several new state government contracts to its growing government services practice in 2007.

New contracts with state agencies in Alaska, North Dakota, Washington, Oregon and Wyoming helped drive sales growth in the Government Practice from $5.7 million in 2006 to $7.3 million in 2007 and revenue growth from $3 million in 2006 to $5 million in 2007. Highlights of the services provided through the new contracts include:

  • Development of an operational security plan for the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development unemployment insurance program.
  • IV&V services for the North Dakota Medicaid Systems Project, a replacement of the legacy Medicaid Management Information System.
  • QA planning for the North Dakota Information Technology Department (ITD) to help develop a plan for QA/control implementation that meets the organization needs of the ITD.
  • QA/IV&V services for the state of Washington’s Provider Payroll Project (PPP), a unified payment engine for multiple Washington social services providers.
  • IV&V services for the Oregon Employment Department to verify the State Workforce Agency’s compliance with the Social Security Administration’s systems security requirements.
  • Software testing services for the Wyoming Department of Health Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Division.
